Guide
How to create a gallery in WordPress.
A step-by-step guide to building a photo gallery with PrismFX, from uploading your photos to publishing. It takes about five minutes, and every step works in the free plugin.
Step 1
Install PrismFX Portfolio
Install and activate the free PrismFX Portfolio plugin from your WordPress dashboard under Plugins. A new PrismFX menu appears in the sidebar.
If you bought Pro, upload the Pro zip under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin as well, then enter your licence key under PrismFX → Pro licence.

Each row has fields for a title, description, categories, button text and link.
Step 2
Upload your photos in one go
Go to PrismFX → New gallery and give it a name. Drag a folder of photos onto the Photos box, or click Add photos to pick many from your Media Library.
Each photo gets its own row. Titles and descriptions fill in automatically from your photo details, and you can drag rows to reorder them.
Step 3
Pick a layout and style
In Gallery settings, choose a layout: a portfolio grid, a 3D gallery, or (with Pro) one of 20 FX layouts. Then pick the card colour, how captions show, and what happens when a photo is clicked.
Optional: choose a simpler layout for phones, set columns and spacing, or turn on category filter buttons.

Step 4
Publish with a block or shortcode
Click Publish. The Add to a page box shows a shortcode like [prismfx id="123"].
In the block editor, add the PrismFX Gallery block and choose your gallery. In Cornerstone, Elementor, Divi or any other builder, paste the shortcode into a text or shortcode element. The Preview box on the gallery screen shows the result before you publish.
